My first aquarium

Step 1: Choose fish
We must decide if we want cold water fish or hot water, you also have to select which species we want and tell us online or at our pet store (preferably online) the care they need the kind of fish you have chosen.
Step 2: Choose Aquarium
For this we have to take into account the previous step, because depending on the amount of fish you want, the epecie they are , and above the adult size of the fish.
Each fish has its appropriate parameters. For a male betta fish will be 20 liters but in 17 and would be comfortable , to breed betta fish (1 male and 3 females ) we would need 40 liters. For a single goldfish we would need 40 liters and 40 liters add more if we put two goldfish . For a Koi or Japanese carp 1000 liters for each fish ( that's a fish pond) .
In general we can say that for every inch of fish (adult ) should add at least 1 liter aquarium.
Step 3: Aquarium Accessories
The aquarium accessories are the most important , because on them depends the life of our fish.
A basic list for cold water fish would be:
· Water conditioner ( there is one made for goldfish ) tropical fish ( Tetra AquaSafe type )· Filter (internal or external ) ideally with aerated ( tetra type in plus )· Sifonador ( to clean aquarium gravel)· Plant Substrate (if we want to , which is highly recommended)· Gravel or sand ( for goldfish is best small gravel )· Aerator ( if the filter it has built no need to put one)

· Water conditioner for tropical fish ( Tetra AquaSafe type )· Filter (internal or external ) ideally with aerated ( tetra type in plus )· Thermo adjustable heater (if possible )· Sifonador ( to clean aquarium gravel· Plant Substrate (if we want to , which is highly recommended)· Gravel or sand ( for goldfish is best small gravel )· Aerator ( if the filter it has built no need to put one)
Step 4 : Install the aquarium
To do this we first have to have everything that we need except the fish.Once you have it all began :
· Clarify the aquarium with tap water ONLY· We clean to condiencia gravel or sand until the water looks crystal· If we put plants put a first layer of substrate for plants· We put the gravel or sand· We place a flat plate on the bottom of the aquarium· We treat the water that we will take with a water conditioner and waited a few minutes· We take the water on the plate , preventing " create" a hole in the gravel or sand· We fill it halfway or so· We put natural plants or artificial plants , we also used to place fish shelters· We fill the tank with water completely tratata· We cycled aquarium· When given nitrites 0 , you can enter the fish
Step 5: Enter the fish
Once the aquarium is going to the pet shop to choose the fish you want to put . When we got home , the first thing is to place the fish (which remain in the bag ) on the tank. Remain so for 5 to 10 minutes. Then we will open a bag and go little gradually introducing ( with a syringe of pastries, for example) for another 5 or 10 minutes.
